The DAKSH (Development of Aspiration, Knowledge, Succession and Harmony) programme, a flagship leadership initiative for senior executives of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), launched its second batch today. Inaugurated by Dr. P. K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, the programme is a joint effort by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE).

A 12-month transformative journey combining digital learning, executive coaching, and live projects.
Batch 2: 72 senior executives from diverse sectors (Energy, Defence, Mining, etc.). (Batch 1 trained 73 officials).
To prepare leaders for strategic roles, enabling them to compete globally and serve national priorities.
Dr. P.K. Mishra emphasized the evolving role of the public sector:
- Strategic Pillar: CPSEs remain essential in strategic areas like energy, defence, and finance, ensuring national resilience.
- Global Competitiveness: With Free Trade Agreements and globalization, CPSEs must compete internationally, not just domestically.
- Tech & Innovation: Public sector enterprises are well-positioned to lead in Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Green Energy.
Smt. Alka Mittal, Member (CBC), highlighted key achievements under the Mission Karmayogi framework:
- Lifelong Learning: Institutionalized through initiatives like Karmayogi Saptah.
- Amrit Gyaan Kosh: Creation of a national repository for India-focused case studies.
- Competency Model: Focus on competency-based growth and technology-enabled learning.
