Termed a "Trustforce," this platform is constituted under Vision 2035 and the Fourth Energy Dialogue to convert global expertise into solutions tailored for Indian conditions.

The Minister outlined three practical pillars to address execution challenges and ensure the ecosystem's success:

Refining seabed leasing frameworks and creating credible revenue-certainty mechanisms to attract investment.
🏗️ Infrastructure
Focus on port modernisation, local manufacturing of components, and deploying specialised vessels for offshore operations.
💰 Financing
Risk mitigation through blended finance structures and mobilisation of long-term institutional capital.
⚡ Future Roadmap & Synergies
The taskforce aims to integrate offshore wind into India's broader energy security framework.
- 📍 Priority Zones: Promising offshore wind zones identified off the coasts of Gujarat and Tamil Nadu; surveys conducted by NIWE.
- 🧪 Green Hydrogen Link: Offshore wind will power coastal industrial clusters, supporting India's low-cost Green Hydrogen (₹279/kg) and Ammonia (₹49.75/kg) production.
- 🚀 Execution at Scale: India has added over 35 GW of solar and 4.61 GW of wind capacity in the current financial year alone.
