Adampur Airport Renamed: A Tribute to Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji on his Jayanti

On the auspicious occasion of Sant Ravidass Jayanti, the Government of India has taken a significant decision regarding the aviation infrastructure in Punjab. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced that the Adampur Airport will henceforth be known as Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji Airport. This renaming serves as a humble tribute to the great saint's timeless teachings of equality and social service.

Sharing the news on social media platform X, PM Modi stated, "It’s a matter of immense honour and pride that today, on the auspicious occasion of Sant Ravidass Jayanti, it has been decided that the Adampur Airport will now onwards be known as Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji Airport."
