On the eve of Republic Day, January 25, 2026, the President of India officially approved the conferment of the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards – 2025. 1. Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak

This is the highest category, awarded for conspicuous courage in saving a life under circumstances of very great danger to the rescuer. This year, 6 individuals were honored, 5 of whom received the award posthumously, including Naik Ashutosh Biswas and Naib Subedar Manjeet from the Ministry of Defence.

2. Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak

3. Jeevan Raksha Padak

Awarded for courage and promptitude in saving life in an act of humane nature. A total of 18 individuals were honored, with a significant number of young bravehearts (Masters and Misses) from Kerala and Mizoram recognized for their valor.
